Geller and Gans: The Taxpayer's Candidates!

I got a call Wednesday afternoon asking me if I wanted to shoot a TV spot for a couple of west county candidates. They wanted the 30 second spot to air this weekend so it had to be finished first thing Friday morning. I had less than 48 hours to shoot and edit the spot so I knew I wasn't going to be getting much sleep and, yes, I am being paid. We decided on a shoot near Busch Stadium on opening day. Obviously, there's a baseball theme to the ad above, but the main message is Geller and Gans: the Taxpayer's Candidates.

Rick Gans is running for the Monarch Fire District. He has been the target of dirty politics from his opponent. In his time at Monarch, Rick has helped to cut the tax rate 16% to the 5th lowest rate in the region.

Mike Geller is running for Rockwood School Board. This is Mike's first foray into politics. He brings conservative values to the fight for quality education.

The election is Tuesday, April 5th, 2011. Mike Geller and Rick Gans are true taxpayer's candidates, but so, too, is Chip Wood. Since you'll be in the voting booth anyway, I'd encourage you to vote for L. K. "Chip" Wood for St. Louis County assessor. Here's an ad that he's produced:
