National Truancy Day

The President is planning to talk at the nation's school children on September 8th:

In a recent interview with student reporter, Damon Weaver, President Obama announced that on September 8 — the first day of school for many children across America — he will deliver a national address directly to students on the importance of education.

Who's delivering the Republican response? I'd like to hear Alan Keyes. Of course, schools could simply tune the radio to their local EIB affiliate... Heck, they could do that at noon on the 8th instead of piping in The Dear Leader.

I'd like to remind the President... well, I'll let Pink Floyd do that.

How about a National Truancy Day on September 8th. Doctors could protest Obamacare by writing notes to excuse children from school for "mental health reasons"; the nation could enjoy a laugh at the irony of having the teacher's union hit with a sickout; and instead of an in-service day the truant students could be put to work on a Tea Party-service day. And all of that has the refreshing taste of civil disobedience.

Such an Obvious Target for Civil Disobedience

Pranksters everywhere, take note: Barry needs his teleprompter. If you're looking to have a little fun, you might unplug it. Personally, I'd like to see a well-loved security blanket thrown over it. How about someone in hockey pads checking XD-235 into the boards?

The best part will be when XD gets his own Secret Service detachment. I look forward to seeing pictures of a teleprompter protected by a battalion of Men in Black!
