Glenn Burleigh walks around in Circles

Glenn Burleigh walks around in circles

The fifth "Glenn Burleigh" on Pipl.com: "Glenn Burleigh is an organizer with the Communication Workers union and co-chair of the Missouri/Kansas Communist Party education/ideology committee..."

24thState has been digging into Comrade Burleigh's nefarious activities with interesting results:
Jefferson County taxpayers spent $185,000 to encourage themselves to vote for a 911 ballot initiative.

Hey, it's work. He's gotta put bread on the table even if he's doing so while committing the fatal conceit. Maybe he has a highly developed sense of irony.

Breitbart throws down the Gauntlet

On Sean Hannity's TV show Andrew Breitbart promised AG Eric Holder more videos just before the 2010 election:
And this message is to Attorney General Holder: I want you to know that we have more tapes, it’s not just ACORN, and we’re going to hold out until the next election cycle, or else if you want to do a clean investigation, we will give you the rest of what we have, we will comply with you, we will give you the documentation we have from countless ACORN whistleblowers who want to come forward but are fearful of this organization and the retribution that they fear that this is a dangerous organization.

ACORN and Carnahan

The MOGOP has found some interesting connections between ACORN and Robin Carnahan:
5 Years Carnahan has been MO's chief elections official
13 ACORN workers who have pleaded guilty to federal charges in MO
1000+ Fraudulent voter registration cards submitted by ACORN on Carnahan's watch
0 Times Robin Carnahan has publicly criticized ACORN
Meanwhile, "The Editor" at 24thstate.com, is investigating a possibly illegal link between between Robin Carnahan and FiredUpMissouri. Hey, Robin, timing... Timing is everything.

Atlas Shrugs reports that ACORN Threw Out Republican Voter Registrations:
In February of 2008, Fathiyyah Muhammad of Jacksonville, Florida, heard that ACORN was paying three dollars for each vote you could register. Fatiyyah claims she registered voters for Acorn there (at three dollars each), but that the group threw out her votes and fired her when she brought them GOP registrations.

ACORN and Citizen Journalism

Bill Whittle on ACORN and BigGovernment.comBill Whittle over at PJTV has an excellent 10 minute report on BigGovernment.com's strategy for releasing the ACORN videos. Watch the whole thing as there is an important warning at the end. As Glenn Reynolds is fond of saying: Don't get cocky.
Stanley Kurtz in The Corner on Patrick Gaspard, ACORN, and Obama
We are talking about a persistent and shared political-ideological alliance between President Obama and the complex of community, labor, and party organizations controlled by ACORN. (See especially "Life of the New Party" for more on New Party ideology.)

Ed Martin: On ACORN and Voter Fraud

In mid-August I caught up with Ed Martin at one of his "Ask Ed Anything" sessions. It's taken a while to get the video posted because my computer crashed and other things came up. In the video above, Ed talks about his time on the St Louis Board of Election Commissioners fighting voter fraud in the city.

Ed has been exploring a run for Missouri's third Congressional District. On Wednesday evening (6PM), at McArthur's Bakery, he will announce the results of that exploration.

THIS JUST IN: There's corruption in DC!!!! And I'm not just talking about the Federal Government. James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles visited an ACORN office in the Nation's Capitol seeking help. They needed tax advice on setting up a brothel and ACORN was more than willing to help.
