Dominique Strauss-Kahn Could Walk, Accuser's Credibility Questioned

Media_httpwwwinmalafi_dwkyb

The sexual assault case against Dominique Strauss-Kahn is on the verge of collapse as investigators have uncovered major holes in the credibility of the housekeeper who charged that he attacked her in his Manhattan hotel suite in May, according to two well-placed law enforcement officials.
Although forensic tests found unambiguous evidence of a sexual encounter between Mr. Strauss-Kahn, a French politician, and the woman, prosecutors do not believe much of what the accuser has told them about the circumstances or about herself.

It's important to maintain your credibility if you're going to accuse someone of rape even when there's "unambiguous evidence". Since DSK's accuser is seeking asylum, I wonder if her vanishing credibility will get her a one-way ticket back home. Wow. Just... wow.

Meanwhile, China's Xinhua is reporting that the IMF has moved on: First female IMF chief receives praise from former hometown of Chicago:

CHICAGO, June 28 (Xinhua) -- French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde made history Tuesday by becoming the first female managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and her appointment received wide praise in Chicago, where she once served as chairman of one of the world's largest law firms.

International Monetary Fund Hit with Cyber Attack

Reuters: IMF latest target in string of cyber attacks:

(Reuters) - The International Monetary Fund has been hit by a cyber attack on its computer systems, an IMF spokesman said on Saturday, highlighting a growing rash of network break-ins at high-profile institutions.
Several senior officials with knowledge of the attack said it was both sophisticated and serious. “This was a very major breach,” said one official, who said that it had occurred over the last several months, even before Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the French politician who ran the fund, was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a chamber maid in a New York hotel.

It is often possible to determine the country of origin for attacks like this; however, the articles do not indicate where the attacks originated.

Video: Dominique Strauss-Kahn's DNA Found on Accusers Shirt

New tests have found that the DNA of former International Monetary Fund leader Dominique Strauss-Kahn matches material found on the shirt of a Manhattan hotel maid who says he attacked her, two people familiar with the investigation told AP.

WSJ.com: DNA Said to Link Strauss-Kahn to Maid:

Tests matched a DNA sample submitted by former International Monetary Fund director Dominique Strauss-Kahn and semen found on the shirt of the hotel maid who told police she had been sexually assaulted by him, law-enforcement officials said.

MORE (ACORN) Organization and Political Influence

MORE (Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment) is what remains of the Missouri chapter of ACORN. They held meetings in 2010 to plan their strategy for squatting on properties in the St. Louis area.

The video above outlines MORE's organizational structure. Jeff Ordower is their leader. Under him are three "Community Organizers": Cathy de la Aguilera, James Houston, and Hannah Allison. James's remarks in the video above make clear that MORE gains influence within a community by working on candidate campaigns. Once their candidates are elected then MORE requests favors like holding a press event with their elected officials about the virtues of theft through squatting.

The next video will outline MORE's "Master Plan" to acquire residential property through extralegal means like squatting.

As I noted in the first video in this series (Introducing MOREthe group still has ties to communist organizations and they've sponsored bank protests at Chase Bank and Bank of America. They recently stormed an event at St. Louis University. Last week, MORE tried to deny a citizen journalist his First Amendment press freedom at a "public" forum with a representative from Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster's office.

Introducing MORE (Again)

MORE (Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment) and other leftists held meetings in 2010 to plan their strategy for squatting on properties in the St. Louis area. The video above introduces some of their leaders. A future video will outline MORE's longterm strategy to acquire residential property through extralegal means like squatting.

Who or what is MORE, you may be wondering. When ACORN was put out of business, the local chapters re-branded themselves. St. Louis's ACORN chapter became MORE. Even after the re-branding MORE still has ties to communist organizations.

They've sponsored bank protests at Chase Bank and Bank of America. They recently stormed an event at St. Louis University. Their efforts to acquire property through squatting and "urban homesteading" are just another page out of the radical left's play book.

Update: Welcome to everyone coming from BigGovernment and thanks for the link! And thanks to Bill O'Reilly for his Is ACORN Regrouping? link.

What's Going on at Carnahan's Office?

The campaign headquarters of Congressman Russ Carnahan (D-MO) was broken into and a fire was started in the finance office the other night. Carnahan's Republican opponent, Ed Martin (R-MO), quickly condemned the attack.

While the story to that point looks like boilerplate, I agree with Dana that "things seem a little .... odd" after reading KMOV's coverage:
When I went by the building this morning I got a weird vibe. I saw a campaign worker coming out of the back of the office with big Bread Company to-go bags. I jokingly said, "Are you with Bread Company or the Carnahan campaign?" He said, "Bread Company," then tossed the bags in the dumpster and went to the front of the building, presumably back in the office. Weird.

(I talked to a reporter at another station who worked on this story who told me when she was there, she met a campaign worker outside the building who also denied being associated with the campaign. When she went inside to talk to a spokesperson, she saw that person who denied being with the campaign IN Carnahan's office.)

Then when I talked to a campaign spokesperson she refused to comment on anything beyond what police already told us. I tried to ask "What do you make of this?"... "How are workers and volunteers inside dealing with the fact their office was attacked?"... but Angela Guyadeen would have none of it. She wouldn't even tell me why she wouldn't answer these simple questions.
